Introduction

The purpose of the Dementia Awareness course is to educate those who work with housing and care providers on dementia, including what dementia is, how to detect it, and how to help service users who are affected by it.

• The signs of dementia and how to identify illnesses that might be misdiagnosed for.
• How to get more assistance for your clients.
• Through e-learning, this specialised care course is offered online. Our interactive learning management system, which provides access to the course around the clock, will be instantly available to Dementia Awareness course participants.

Assesment

Specialised Care Courses: After completing the course materials, participants take an online test on dementia awareness. An test consisting of multiple choice answers must be completed with a passing grade of 80%. As the answers are automatically graded, you can see if you passed or not. Do not worry if you fail! The exam may be taken up to twenty (20) times. After you've utilised all twenty (20) tries, you must buy the same course again.

Course Duration

• The online care course needs a minimum of one hour to complete. This can be a guide to the educational hours needed, and it depends on how quickly an individual can understand the course. The training is online. It may be displayed over multiple sessions or done in one session.

• Learners will have access to the present course for up to nine months from the date of joining. There's no pressure to finish the course in a short time.

Certificate
