Standard 12 Basic Life Support

Introduction

The topic of this subject is basic life support. You must complete hands-on basic life support training in order to pass this unit. You will be assigned to an in-person training session by your company. Depending on your professional function, successfully completing this course enables you to provide first aid to adults, children, or both.

Aims

• The knowledge material of the Care certifications is covered in the course, although taking this course alone will not be the primary means of completing the certificates.
• The Care certificate includes about 50 regions of administrative centre evaluation in addition to the knowledge content. An induction must be given by your employer to ensure that you have the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do your job.

Objectives

• The Care Certificates, which outline the essential skills required to function in the health and social care sectors, may be incorporated into your introduction process.
• Before assuming any job where you may operate without direct supervision, you should complete and assess each standard. This may be done gradually and should happen right at the beginning of your job.
• You may be permitted to carry out work covered by a standard without direct supervision as long as you fulfil each particular requirement, but you will still require supervision in other areas.

Assesment

Standard 12 on the Care Certificate: Basic Life Support Once the training material has been completed, an online evaluation is given. An test consisting of multiple-choice answers must be completed with a passing grade of 80%. As the answers are automatically graded, you can see if you passed or not. Do not worry if you fail! The exam may be taken up to twenty (20) times. If, however, you use all twenty (20) tries, you will have to repurchase the identical course.

Course Duration

• The online care course needs a minimum of one hour to complete. This can be a guide to the educational hours needed, and it depends on how quickly an individual can understand the course. The training is online. It may be displayed over multiple sessions or done in one session.

• Learners will have access to the present course for up to nine months from the date of joining. There's no pressure to finish the course in a short time.
